Spray Foam Removal & Roof Restoration
Spray foam insulation can cause serious issues when it begins to trap moisture, rot roof beams, destroy roof felt, hide structural defects, pushes house insurance up as it's highly flammable, giving off toxic fumes if burnt. It is now a major highlighted issue and will prevent a house from selling.
Our specialist spray foam removal service is designed to put your roof back into a safe, compliant, and fully insurable condition — with every step carried out cleanly, responsibly, and to the highest professional standards.
Safe, Controlled Foam Removal
We remove spray foam using a carefully managed process that protects both your home and the roof structure.
• The foam is fully contained during removal to prevent debris spreading through the property and more importantly into the environment where it NEVER degrades.
• All material is double‑bagged within the loft space, ensuring safe handling and preventing contamination.
• Every job includes official waste transfer certificates, giving you complete transparency over where your foam goes.
• We trace all removed foam to ethical, licensed disposal facilities, so you know it’s handled responsibly from start to finish.
Independent Roof Structure Report
Once the foam is removed, we arrange for an independent surveyor to inspect the roof timbers, ventilation, and overall structural condition. This provides:
• A clear, unbiased assessment of any hidden damage
• Documentation that lenders, insurers, and future buyers can rely on
• Peace of mind that your roof is safe and sound before reinstating insulation.
High‑Performance Re‑Insulation
After the survey, we install a fresh insulation system that brings your loft back to — and beyond — modern standards.
• Fully breathable, mortgage‑friendly materials
• Installed above current building regulation specifications
• Improved energy efficiency and long‑term roof health
• A clean, dry, cold, well‑ventilated loft space ready for the future as it was desgined to be.

Before And After
This spray foam had been installed professionally, with a vapour barrier fitted to the inside of the roof felt before application. Because of this, when the foam was removed the roof felt remained protected and intact.
Unfortunately, not all installations are done to this standard. When foam is sprayed directly onto the felt without proper preparation, it can seriously weaken the membrane. Replacing damaged roof felt is extremely costly, as it typically requires the entire roof covering to be removed.
